Change The Icon’s Graphic, Label or Description

To change the icon’s graphic, text, or description in the QuickBooks Pro 2021 Desktop version, you can follow these steps:

A. Access Icon Bar Customization:

• Open QuickBooks Pro 2021 Desktop and log in to your company file.
• Navigate to the top menu and select “View.”
• Choose “Customize Icon Bar” from the drop-down menu.

B. Select the Icon to Edit:

• In the “Customize Icon Bar” window, you’ll see a list of icons on the left side, Under “ICON BAR CONTENT.”
• Scroll through the list and select the icon you want to edit by clicking on it. Press “Edit” on the right side
• In “Edit Icon Bar Item,” you can choose the icon’s “shape”, “label,” and “Description” for the selected ICON.
• Press “OK” to confirm the changes.

C. Edit the Icon’s Graphic:

• To change the graphic or image associated with the icon, Just click on the “Desired Icon”.
• After selecting the new graphic, click “OK” to apply the change.

D. Modify the Icon’s Label or Description:

• To change the text or description associated with the icon, click the “Edit” button.
• In the “Edit Icon” window, you can update the label and description fields as desired.
• Make the necessary changes and click “OK” to save the modifications.

E. Save and Apply Changes:

• After making the desired modifications to the icon’s graphic, label, or description, click “OK” in the “Customize Icon Bar” window to save the changes.
• The Icon Bar will now reflect the updated graphic, label, or description for the selected icon.
